On the eve of the opening of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, concern “Kalashnikov” presented Moscow a three-wheeled Russian Police car called “IZH Ovum”. The technique is painted in police colors and will be used in Moscow for a month before the end of the 2018 World Cup in mid-July.
New Russian Police Car was produced by the concern “Kalashnikov” and handed over to the traffic police of Moscow for testing in a pilot mode. Engine power –15 kW, weight –500 kg, the maximum speed –80 km/h, although for daily use it is limited to a mark of 30 km/h. Mileage on one charge –150 km.
The electric car is completely Russian development. It differs from analogs in minimum requirements in service, simplicity in operation, ergonomics, efficiency and low noise level.
The use of such machines will allow the traffic police of Moscow to provide the most rapid response and overseeing the observance of order on the roads of the city.
Also, the concern “Kalashnikov” handed over to the Moscow law enforcers the newest electric motorcycles “IZH Pulsar”. Power of the motorcycle is 15 kW, the maximum speed of the Pulsar is 100 km/h. Mileage on one charge is 150 km.
Both of these vehicles are not only effective in the urban environment — they are suitable for working in off-road and park zones. After the World Cup, they will be returned to the concern Kalashnikov — along with detailed reports on the operation, indicating the pros and cons of the design.
